Admission Highlights
Admission Process
Step 1 – Complete the online application form and Submit the documents
Candidates have to fill-in their Online application form from the below link
Applicants must upload the * below mentioned documents with official sealUnder Graduate and Post Graduate documentsalong with online application form or email to admissions@niu.edu.in
Step 2 – Pay your Application fee
When you submit your online application, you will be assessed an INR 1,100 (non –refundable) towards application fee via net banking/credit card/debit card.(* as per the bank details and online payment link mentioned below)
Step 3 – Submit the Documents
Once your application form is received at admission cell, an acknowledgement will be sent to your email upon successful verification of your eligibility and enclosing the detailed schedule for your Entrance test/GD PI including Date, time and venue.
Iif you do not receive any acknowledgement against your application within 3 working days from the date of your application.
Step 4- Pay your Registration Fees
The student selected for admission will be required to reserve his seat by paying the semester fee immediately. Failing which seat can be allotted to the other student.
The fee paid against Reservation of seat is non-refundable/non-transferable. Security amount INR 10,000/- is Refundable only after the completion of the Course. (* as per the bank details and online payment link mentioned below)
Note:- Details of the fees deposited by the candidate must immediately be furnished to the Admission department through email at : admissions@niu.edu.in giving candidate name , courses to which admitted, application number / admission numberand scanned copy of the Bank Receipt etc.
Step 5: Offer of Admission
The University will issue an offer / selection letter if student qualifies in the appeared examination or fulfills the eligibility criteria.
However Provisional Admission Letter will be issued only once the payment is confirmed from our accounts department.
Registered students are suggested to pay the balance fee immediately mentioned in their provisional admission letter within 30 days of their reservation of seat to confirm their admission. Failing which the allotted seat can be transferred to the waiting list students.
* Admissions to all programs being offered at NIU will be made as per eligibility norms of UGC /BCI /COA/ INC/ NCTE/University Academic Council.
