The Department of Computer Science and Engineering [CSE] was started in the year 2001 with an intake of 60 and enhanced to 120 in the year 2011. Since then the department is striding in a progressive path. The department has a team of well qualified, experienced and dedicated staff members.

The department has well equipped laboratories with state of the art computing facilities installed with the necessary licensed softwares. The department is helping the students in getting exposure to the cutting edge technologies. Students are encouraged to participate in various intercollegiate technical events, cultural activities and sports.

The Department is associated with Infosys Campus Connect program (ICC) to bridge the gap between Industry and Academia. Regular seminars, workshops and National Conferences are conducted with the support from professional societies like CSI, IEEE, ISTE etc. Invited / Guest Lectures by eminent Professors and Industry Experts are arranged regularly to understand the need of the hour in technology. CSE department has an active Memorandum of Understanding [MoU] with Ethical Byte and Karnataka German Technical Training Institute [KGTTI], Bangalore. We conduct Student Development Program [SDP] Training on "Ethical Hacking-Cyber Security", RedHat, Cisco Networking etc through these MoU.

Admission Highlights

A merit list will be prepared based on the 50% weighatage for the marks of the qualifying examination and 50% weightage for the CET Marks for declaring the CET rank. Seat Matrix is announced indicating seat available in different college in different branches based on the sanctioned intake.

COMEDK BOTH FOR KARNATAKA AND NON-KARNATAKA STUDENTS The COMEDK test for admission into various professional courses will be conducted all over India. The COMEDK is generally conducted during the month of May and the notifications will appear in all leading newspapers. The COMEDK ranking is based on the performance of students in the COMEDK entrance test only. Seat Matrix is announced indicating seat available in different college in different branches based on the sanctioned intake.

MANAGEMENT SEATS BOTH FOR KARNATAKA AND NON-KARNATAKA STUDENTS

The qualifying examination is the 2nd PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by the State / Central Government. The last two years of study shall comprise Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.

General Merit Candidate should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka state) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory along with Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as one of the subjects. However, changes if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE will be adopted.

Fee

  • Time scheduled for payment of fee for the entire programme --- 05 to 10 days after the announcement of the Seat Matrix.
  • For Karnataka Student CET Fees: (For 21-22 admission) Rs. 90,060/- + Rs 5000/- for skill lab
